Alheri Games is a hyper-casual game development company from West Africa. The company was founded by Kwadwo Danso (Ghana) and Moses Adamu (Nigeria). Their journey into building a game studio started out when they met at the Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST), Accra Ghana where they were both Entrepreneurs-in-Training and part of the 2019 cohort.
They become friends and their passion to build games made them start Alheri Games after they graduated from MEST. Research had pointed them in the direction of hyper-casual games as the sector had been on very high growth in terms of downloads and revenue. Also, they believe that the easiest way for an African studio to get into the gaming industry is through hyper-casual games because it has the lowest barrier to entry in the industry.
Raising funds for their business was very difficult, and that made their first one and a half years very tough. They had to bootstrap and raise money, but they never lost focus of the goal, which was getting their games globally published and breaking all downloads and revenue records in the African gaming industry.
Self-publishing is always the best way to go, but with very limited resources, it is very hard to find success. So, the best way to go would be to work with globally successful publishers who will accept game prototypes, test them and if they reach certain very high benchmarks, the games get published globally with a revenue-sharing agreement in place. The problem with this method was that out of every 200 prototypes that are tested, only one or two makes it to publishing. Therefore the game studio keeps developing and testing, and with every failed prototype, they get nothing from it.
Things changed for Alheri Games when publishers started paying for prototypes irrespective of the test results. In February 2021, they got such deals from a French and German publisher and this was a source of cash flow for the studio and helped to keep them afloat.
Their biggest opportunity came for them later in 2021, when they got accepted into the very first gaming accelerator in Africa, sponsored by Crazy Labs (a hyper-casual publisher with over 5 billion downloads) and Carry1st (biggest mobile game publisher in Africa). This was awesome for them because, for the first time since they started Alheri Games, Kwadwo and Moses will get to work together from the same physical space, learn from experts from Crazy Labs which is the third biggest publisher in hyper-casual, and also experience the beauty of Cape Town, South Africa.
They don’t have a published game yet, but they are closer than they have ever been. We are expecting to see more about Alheri Games in the news in the coming months. If you will be attending the Africa Games Week in Cape Town from February 23 to 25, 2022, you can connect with them, because they will be there live on the ground.
PayPal is one of the best platforms for online payment in Nigeria and everywhere in the world, especially if you’re working on the internet.
Paypal is accepted everywhere and almost everyone uses it to accept payment in eCommerce shops, on marketplaces, or even personal transactions and gifts; and with the pandemic, online payments have become more popular.
Freelancers, especially those in Nigeria and other African countries have relied heavily on PayPal (even though there are some PayPal alternatives) to receive payment for services they have rendered as a way to make money.
As the world becomes more and more connected, faster and easier transactions are needed now more than ever.
Even though you might not need PayPal yourself, someone who you do business with would need it in order to go through a transaction with you and that’s why in this 21st century it’s important that you get a working PayPal Account that is verified and that you can use to accept payments and make purchases and withdraw your money.
A lot of readers on this blog have asked for this particular article and we have spent the time to research the best working methods to register, set up, and fund a PayPal account and withdraw here in Nigeria.
Please remember that this tutorial is for a business account and you will be able to use it for all your PayPal transactions here in Nigeria and abroad. Please don’t choose the personal option else you won’t be able to change the phone number prefix to Nigeria.
At first, I didn’t know how to create a PayPal account so I followed a lot of tutorials online (even some paid ones) that put me through a lot of problems.
Such tiresome methods sometimes involve trying to get an international number and other things that were very difficult to lay hands on.
Now getting a PayPal account in Nigeria that you can receive payments and withdraw is easy, all you need is your valid phone number, your current address, and your legal full name.
This article has been well written and is therefore very long and I encourage you to read it to the end to go through the process in less than 9 minutes.
If you are ready, just continue reading as I teach you how to get a PayPal account in Nigeria and get it working for you. The good thing is that you never going to have issues as I have been using an account I created from this method for more than three years.
What is PayPal?
PayPal is the online wallet service of an American financial institution registered in the United States and several countries. The company is also registered in other countries including Canada, Luxemburg, Singapore, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
It serves a global marketplace and is by far the biggest internet wallet service.
In July 2014, Paypal blacklisted Nigeria and some other African countries due to the high number of credit card fraud that was originating from these countries.
Some of the countries on the list, like Nigeria, have had the ban level reduced but they still can not receive funds through their PayPal.
And that is why we have prepared this tutorial, to help you receive money and withdraw the money via PayPal.
Benefits of having a PayPal Account in Nigeria
Why do most people love to use PayPal and not any other payment method? Well, it is because PayPal has been around for a long time and is robust and very trusted.
Here are some benefits you can enjoy after opening a verified PayPal account in Nigeria.
Security of transactions
Disclosing your card details when carrying out financial transactions online comes with a lot of risks, this is where Paypal has an edge, with Paypal online merchants don’t see and ask for your credit card details to carry out transactions.
Paypal simply collects your credit card details just once, which is when you are signing up for a PayPal account, your card details are encrypted and secured, which simply allows you to trade online without fear of having your credit card details compromised or stolen.
Buying Online
Having a PayPal account gives you access to thousands of online store with just your email address and password as most online vendors accept Paypal as a method of payment which is one of merit you derive from owning a PayPal account, you can easily purchase whatever you need regardless of the location.
Flexible with more options and costs less
Paypal comes with a lot of flexibility as it supports various types of cards (Master cards, VISA cards, Debit cards, Credit cards, etc). you can simply add and verify any of your preferred electronic cards to your Paypal account, you can also add more than one card.
Paypal is also accepted on mobile sites and apps which simply allows you to pay with your tablet and smartphone with just a few clicks, you also don’t need a token to use Paypal.
Simple and Fast
With Paypal, you can send payment in exchange for goods, transfer funds, send money and pay bills in few moments which can be done anywhere and anytime, all you need is to simply login into your Paypal account with your email address and password.
What do you need to create a verified PayPal Account in Nigeria?
To create a PayPal account in Nigeria, you need 3 things (which you should already have as a Nigerian). These are:
An active phone number (I recommend MTN and 9Mobile; Glo and Airtel sometimes have issues receiving OTP from PayPal).
Full Name as it appears on a recognised National ID
A working email address (You should never have tried to use this address to register a PayPal account)
Once you have all these three things, you can start the registration process on your computer. If you want to use a mobile phone to do the registration, I recommend Google Chrome browser or Yandex browser.
Remember to choose “desktop mode” on your mobile browser if you are going to use a smartphone.

Once you are done, you will now have a fully functioning PayPal account in Nigeria. You can now receive money in your account and use those funds to make payments.
However, that is not enough.
We will teach you how to withdraw the money from your PayPal account.
How to fund your PayPal account in Nigeria
Funding your PayPal account is simply the method or means by which you can add money to your PayPal account.
If you are not receiving any funds into your PayPal wallet and you still need to use it to make a purchase, you will have to fund it.
Here are 3 ways by which you can fund your PayPal account here in Nigeria.
Transfer from friends
One of the easiest ways to fund your PayPal account all the time is to ask your friends that also have PayPal.
All you need to do is send the Naira equivalent of how much you want to be sent to your PayPal account to your friend and they will send you the funds when you give them your PayPal email.
Beware that there are some people who would want to take advantage of you, making this process very risky. The next method, however, involves dealing with your bank.
Fund from Debit Card
This is the safest means to fund your PayPal account in Nigeria. All you need to do is to contact your bank to get a debit card from them.
Make sure you have enough funds on the card to be loaded on your PayPal account and add the card to your account.
From there, you can fund your PayPal account.
I recommend you use banks that have a mobile app or good USSD platform so that you make bank transactions directly on your phone.
Buy from Online Exchanges
There are online exchanges in Nigeria that offer varying rates that you can buy and sell PayPal funds from.
You just need to do good background checks on them and read reviews about them too. Not all of them are genuine.
Therefore the card remains the best way to fund your PayPal account in Nigeria.
How to withdraw money from your PayPal in Nigeria
You need a UBA AfriCard Card to withdraw your Paypal funds.
Please note that this card can be the normal Naira Card and not a USD card.
In Nigeria, you can get a UBA AfriCard by walking to the nearest UBA Branch and requesting a card. It is also sometimes known as the UBA Prepaid Card.
Once you have linked your cards to your PayPal account, you can follow the steps below to withdraw your money:
On the next screen, click on “From” and choose your PayPal Balance
Then next, click on “To” and choose your linked Visa Card
Enter the amount and click on “Continue”
On the next screen, you will see a review of the transaction you are about to undertake. Click on “Transfer” to have the money sent instantly to your UBA AfriCard. Remember that although it is written 5 to 7 business days, the transfer is mostly instant and you can check your balance at any ATM or via your Mobile App. You may not receive any alert when you transfer from PayPal to your AfriCard.
Important information to note about Paypal in Nigeria and this tutorial
100% Working: This tutorial is 100% working. To be sure, we have used it to create about 5 different PayPal accounts for different individuals between August 2020 and January 2021. We also have testimonials from over 132 individuals who have used the tutorial in Nigeria.
No VPN: We didn’t mention the use of VPN in this tutorial because it is not needed. You don’t need a VPN to create a PayPal account in Nigeria if you follow our steps. In fact, you don’t need a VPN to even access the account. Never use a VPN with the account
No International Number: Forget the hassle of using an international number. This tutorial does not involve that.
Legality: You are advised to provide legal information about yourself when completing this tutorial. This is the only way you can access your PayPal account, should anything go wrong. The phone number is most important because it will be used to verify your identity should you lose your password.
Withdrawal charges: Anytime you withdraw from PayPal, you are charged $5. For this reason, it is best to keep your money there until it is substantial. As I said, the account is safe and you will not lose your money if you follow all the relevant steps.
Withdrawal tips: In order to make your PayPal account look even more legitimate, don’t withdraw exactly when the money hits your account. Wait for the next day to withdraw to your UBA AfriCard.
The Africa Cup of Nations, also known as the African Cup of Nations, is Africa’s most prestigious football (soccer) competition. National teams compete in it, organized by the Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF). The competition format has evolved, with teams increasing from three in 1957 to 24, after several expansions, in 2019. Growing participation also resulted in the addition of qualifying rounds in 1968, when CAF decided to hold the tournament on a biennial basis.
It is no longer news that AFCON 2021 has started in January 2022 with Cameroon as the host country for the 24 other countries. Cable TV providers such as DStv, Startimes, and others aren’t helping matters by charging exorbitant fees for the full bouquet where you can watch AFCON 2021 live football matches. Which TV should you choose? Smart or traditional? Ultra-HD or full-HD? LED or OLED? Technology is evolving so fast that it is no longer easy to navigate flat-screen TVs. We will help you choose the new television that best suits your needs!
ARE YOU TAKING YOUR SMART YEAR OR TRADITIONAL?
What kind of TV should I buy, smart or traditional? This issue is mostly decided by price, although smart TVs that run apps like YouTube are also getting cheaper. Among the manufacturers, Philips and Sony will use Google’s Android software on their new smartphones, while LG will use webOS and Samsung will use a platform called Tizen. When choosing a TV, it is almost impossible to decide which technology is better or worse than the other, however, the range of applications available for each app is not exactly the same.
Today’s smart TVs are best suited for music and video services. Although we would guess by its name, it is not possible to run all Android games and apps on Android TV, only those that have been specifically optimized for smart TV use, and this is only a fraction of all apps. But both LG and Samsung TVs have far fewer apps available than smartphones. From a smart TV, it’s a good idea to choose a model with built-in wifi, as this gives you much more freedom to place your device than if you had to adjust to the internet wire.
WHAT SHOW TV DO YOU BUY?
What resolution should I buy on my TV? Should it be Full-HD or Ultra-HD?
When buying a TV, you can choose from three resolutions: HD-ready (1366 * 768 pixels) for about 1 million, full-HD (1920 * 1080 pixels) for 2 million, and ultra-HD / 4K (3840 * 2160 pixels) already contain more than 8 million pixels. Samsung sells its premium TVs under the brand name SUHD, but they are just as ultra-HD as the others. Many TV names have the name 4K, which in common parlance indicates the same quality as ultra-HD, and suggests that the horizontal resolution of such screens is close to 4,000 pixels.
Today, basic HD-ready quality is mostly enough for just a kitchen, small bedroom TV. You should buy at least a full-HD device in your living room, or even more ultra-HD / 4K resolution, as most TV shows and movies are or will be available in this quality. When buying a TV, it is good to know that ultra-HD models are also getting cheaper. Although at such a huge resolution, they still broadcast little content, a film viewed in such a format offers a striking spectacle. On an Ultra-HD / 4K TV, you should watch at least full-HD movies. Because the resolution of ultra-HD TVs is an order of magnitude higher, which is better than what has been used so far, the picture of TV broadcasts lower than full-HD TV may be less beautiful on them. Some of the game consoles available today are not yet capable of running games in ultra-HD resolution, but these are also expected to become more widespread. While this is currently the case, the future is for ultra-HD resolution, including 4K / ultra-HD TVs, and if you are thinking about buying a TV in the long run, you may want to choose this type.
HOW MUCH DO YOU TAKE YOUR TV?
If the device will be placed in a small bedroom and you will be looking up close, a 32-38 inch, roughly 80-90 cm diagonal device will suffice. A TV intended for a living room is usually not viewed from close range, but from a distance of two to three meters, so it is worth choosing a TV with a screen diameter of 39-52 inches (100-130 centimeters). On a larger TV, not only the actors but also the subtitles appear in a readable size.
ARE YOU CURVING A CURVED OR FLAT FLAT?
The latest craze for TV makers is the curved screen, which provides an ideal viewing angle. However, this only applies if you are sitting directly in front of the device and not too far away. For example, if more people are watching a TV and not everyone is sitting right in front of them, they will enjoy filming better on a completely flat screen.
MONITOR OR TV?
Today, both TVs and monitors are made in a flat design and can be obtained in the same size, but a large screen TV is usually cheaper than a monitor of a similar size. This is, among other things, because a professional monitor that is also used for graphics work must be perfectly color-correct, while TVs that are typically viewed from a distance and are not used for graphics work are less demanding. TVs are also equipped with a TV tuner, which converts signals received from the antenna or cable into a viewable format. However, TV tuner monitors that are capable of the same are now available, with remote control and built-in speakers. Monitors have special 21: 9, ultra-wide aspect ratios with features optimized specifically for video players. For a kitchen or a place where there is not much space, a TV tuner monitor can be a good choice instead of a normal TV.
WHAT IS THE TV GAME MODE?
In the case of video games, it is very important that all the movements made with the controller are displayed on the screen without delay, because this is the only way to control the games properly. By turning on the TV game mode, the display will be optimized for this, in which case the TVs will also turn off the image enhancement algorithms of hundreds of hertz because they would cause a delay.
Most of the console players already use a TV as their monitor but if you’re a PC or mobile you can try it out just as well. Just connect your device to the TV with an HDMI cable (PC/Laptop) or screen mirroring (phone) and you can enjoy your favorite games on a higher resolution. Whether it’s a complex game or online roulette you will have more fun playing it on a bigger screen.
WHAT SOUND SHOULD YOUR TV BE?
Although manufacturers include data on the sound of TVs on the datasheets: the cheapest TVs are equipped with built-in speakers of less than 10 watts, while the more expensive ones can offer many times that. These figures are not to be construed in themselves, and this ability of high-performance TVs is generally emphasized in the description. However, for most TVs, you may want to connect an amplifier or home theater sound system, or sound projector for good sound.
WHAT ENERGY CLASS DO YOU CHOOSE?
According to EU regulations, manufacturers are required to provide an energy label for newly sold TVs, indicating the rating of the device (A +++ is the most economical, A ++ and A + are still quite economical, and D is the most consumable) and the estimated cost of annual electricity consumption. is. It is no longer worth buying a device with an energy rating lower than.
So if you choose a TV, the most important thing to decide is the resolution and the size of the device. Don’t worry, a 40-inch device will usually fit in a smaller room, but you should only spend bigger if you’re watching the show from a distance. A full-HD TV is now a universal choice: even standard and HD shows look good on it. The future, on the other hand, is for ultra-HD resolution devices, which are still the most ideal for home theater purposes. If you have a Blu-ray movie collection at home, this may be a good choice.
Making deposits is an important step when choosing a bingo game for real money. Before moving funds to bingo or sports betting sites, you should find the most reliable payment methods to enhance your gaming experience. With the factors like internet advent, digital payment, smartphones, and mainly the pandemic, online gaming has become a fast-growing sector. One of the impacts of this area growth is the appearance of the bingo sites with 5 pound deposit enabling the players who want to bet on a tiny budget. The low minimum deposit gambling has become a trend with a large selection of games packed with small wager sizes. Why lower deposits are attractive in the iGaming market?
Great to Test a Brand
The online bingo games enable the players to choose the amount of money they want to deposit with a meager budget, they are able to try different variants with no worries. In other words, a great opportunity to bet with various games is guaranteed with this low deposit system. It is also the case in the sports betting sites from which the punters can bet with a limited budget on their favourite sports. In fact, the gambling operators seduce more and more customers by providing several interesting services and products. Aside from the bonus programmes that are considered as a key factor to push people to register at the bingo casinos; the deposit strategy has also become an important feature that every player should check. This doesn’t mean that these lucky players cannot enhance their gaming experience through the high budget; on the contrary, they can trigger adrenaline with large deposits. Players need to always keep in mind self exclusion in cases when they can’t control it anymore.
Doesn’t dent your pocket
It is undeniable that every gambler’s wish is to boost a huge amount of money but a responsible bettor should register at the Sportsbook with the goal to enjoy the possible best gambling mood. By opting for the idea of a restricted financial plan, not only can the great loss be impossible but it will really impact their pocket. The sports betting platform is appealing for its wide selection of sporting events with a large choice of bets from the lowest to the biggest. Therefore, the bettors are permitted to pick the sports of their choice and who knows that considerable winnings are waiting for the luckiest. In the online bingo sphere, different bingo variations bundled with exciting bonuses and more enhanced features are accessible.
More enjoyable
Online gaming has become a reputed form of recreational activity thanks to the various web-based bingo sites and other platforms. As we don’t want to throw away our money on this entertaining activity, an effective strategy to enjoy the bingo games is gambling with a lower bet. The stress cannot be separated with us chiefly when we use our money on gambling. To enjoy the excitement provided by the bingo games, start with a poor budget and try the several games as much as possible. Thus, there is no need to worry about losing a large sum of money when you play with a small deposit. It is worth mentioning that you can claim the bonus offered by the casino and increase your chance to win the promotions available on the platform.
