  • Why BoostPal may come come back after scamming thousands of people

Why BoostPal may come come back after scamming thousands of people

Boostpal went offline on Saturday, 27th October after we had requested payment on 26th October.

Mind you, I also requested for $50 withdrawal and haven’t been paid till now.

    Why BoostPal may return

Boostpal may return because the site went offline for a couple of days (perhaps 2) in August 2018 and obviously returned and has subsequently gone offline many times.

Besides information reaching me is that they came back on Saturday but the site was too slow and hence, went back offline.

On Sunday, people said it came back with an apology saying they had some technical issues and it would be fixed by today 29th October 2018.

It is however still offline at the time of this writing.

Furthermore, a few people have been circulating some pictures of payment proof from 28th October 2018 which shows payment to some entities.

From these images, the emails were from [email protected].

I, however, haven’t directly seen any payment made to any other member I know.

If these are all true, we can hope Boostpal will return.

    Why Boostpal may never return

Boostpal may not return because payments that were supposed to be made on Friday has not been issued till now (at least I have not seen a concrete proof) and the site is still offline.

Secondly, two other sites that run on boostpal’s script has been launched: www.viewdime.com (closed at the moment) and www.dewtours.com.

Mfidie.com attests to the fact that viewdime had the email ‘[email protected]’ on their site.

To investigate, I have personally downloaded the script of dewtours and found boostpal’s logos in it. In fact, you don’t even need a brain to know dewtours and boostpal are same.

They probably launched this one to scam more people.

Thirdly, Boostpal may have disabled withdrawals on Tuesdays before they went offline to accumulate as much money as they could.

They even added a new upgrade package which meant more upgrades to maximize the amount accumulated.

I personally saw some upgrades being done on the Thursday and Friday before Boostpal went offline but perhaps it was all to convince people to invest their cash.

There has been a post by www.news7pm.com claiming boostpal have acquired offices in Ghana, Nigeria and Kenya; The site is a satire site and as such stories from there cannot be taken seriously.

I had a whole lot of reasons that made me trust Boostpal and hence my comments on beermoneyforum, etc.

It’s worthless explaining myself now anyway.

I honestly hope Boostpal returns per their claim, not because of me but all those other people who lost their money because of my comments.

As told by alihamtech, an investor in boostpal.

  • BoostPal creates 3rd Ponzi called Dewtours to “promote tourism”

BoostPal creates 3rd Ponzi called Dewtours to “promote tourism”

Yesterday, we exposed the plan by Boostpal to fraud more people after they opened a new company called  ViewDime and today a new one comes up called dewtours.

Well, it’s like the guys at boostpal are desperately trying to milk more people so this time they set up “Dewtours” to look like a tourism company.

Dewtours is just the twin of Boostpal or you can say they are triplets: Boostpal, ViewDime and Dewtours.

According to Dewtour’s website which is currently operational, they are into tourism. They have this written on their website:

“We’re the Tours & Travel specialists with a wealth of knowledge and experience. For over a decade, we have worked in the tourism space and grown alongside industry changes.

Fraud Fighters: Our dedicated compliance team and third-party verification partners tackle fraud and build trust among our clients.”

We believe that video is the best way to capture and share tourism’s incredible variety. This is why at Dewtours we aim to offer the best tourism experience

Does the language sound familiar? Yes, it should. This is boostpal language. All that they have changed is the fact that the videos they will be showing are tourism inclined.

Does Boostpal, ViewDime or Dewtours think people are so foolish?

Wait, when these Ponzi schemes and fraud are running, they know for sure people will be foolish enough to invest.

But do they think if they leave a messy website, people won’t know they are linked?

    Check out the image below:

In the image below, there are three things that will instantly link Dewtours to Boostpal.

    They are:

    1. The Logo
    2. The content of the FAQ Page
    3. The colours used on the site.

It could be that they have just copied everything from Boostpal and they are editing it little by little.

However, why would they do that on a live website unless they take poor investors for fools?

    Is Dewtours genuine

Just like we blew the whistle on ViewDime.com yesterday, we are doing same on Dewtours. They are not a tourism company.

Dewtours is a Ponzi and fraud and if you ever invest with them, they will run away with your money just like boostpal.

Beware, stay safe and share with your family and friends.

  • Did Boostpal change their name to ViewDime to fraud more people?

Did Boostpal change their name to ViewDime to fraud more people?

If you didn’t know Boostpal’s website is not running anymore. But that should not come as a surprise to all of you who read on Asetena.com. Well, there is something else that has come bu called ViewDime.

But first, let’s cover some background.

We have already warned a lot of people about Boostpal and why it may be fraud. You can read the whole article here.

    Why did Boostpal leave?

With the “success” and subsequent collapse of boostpal, it would be foolish of whoever was running it to just close it down and keep it like that – closed.

Some people even believe that boostpal wanted to run for a long time but someone approached them to buy their script and that was why they didn’t pay last Friday and just run away.

If you didn’t know, a script is what makes the website run and judging by the way boostpal was running, they had their own custom script built with ASP.NET. Once boostpal was successful, it was only a matter of time before other “Ponzi investors” got interested in the script and try to buy it.

Today, we discovered a new website called ViewDime which claims to pay people through their “New OTT-Video Streaming Platform”. Simple and short, it runs like boostpal but just has a more fancy name.

A few people were thinking this is just boostpal trying to enter other countries and make more victims from there but is this really true?

    Let’s analyse some facts.

    When was ViewDime.com registered?

When you look at the current ViewDime website, they have a copyright that states the year 2017 to make it seem they have been in existence for a long time.

But I decided to look a step further and see at what date the domain name was registered.

By making a quick search online, you would notice that the site was registered in August 2018. That is exactly how Ponzi Schemes work. They start making an exit plan once they think they have had enough.

So why would an internet business start operating in 2017 but register their domain in late 2018? Where were they operating before? Red Flag.

Evidence of Boostpal on ViewDime’s Website

This is what got me surprised. If you want to do Ponzi, at least do it well.

A quick search through the ViewDime site shows that they have a clear relationship with boostpal.

On the about page of ViewDime, they as people to send an email to [email protected]

How dumb can they be? If you are using the same script, can’t you do a simple search and replace?

Boostpal’s SSL was by an organisation called ViewDime.com

The SSL certificate boostpal was using before they vanished was by an organisation called viewdime.com

This proves how much boostpal and viewdime are related.

    Verdict

The dumbest people will be those to invest money they can’t afford to lose in ViewDime. ViewDime is not real or genuine. It is just a cheap clone of boostpal and is doomed to put people in tears.

Share with your friends and warn them.

  • Was Boospal a Ponzi and Fraud? Will they come back?

Was Boospal a Ponzi and Fraud? Will they come back?

This morning, I woke up with a lot of messages that Boostpal’s website and Facebook page were both missing.

It’s usual for a website to go down temporarily but for the Facebook page to go down too, that’s quite suspicious.

One Eminent guy on WhatsApp, who claims to be the Boostpal rep for Ghana (although such rep didn’t exist when I checked 3 days ago) claims the Facebook page and Website are down for “upgrade”. (more…)

Ghanaian-American fibre optics inventor, Dr Thomas Mensah has disclosed plans to train some 300,000 Senior High School students in Software development at the Silicon Valley of Ghana, recently launched at the Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT.

The software training programme, according to the tech savvy, will make the students competitive on the global stage and also help Ghana leapfrog other countries in the years to come.

Ghana has also secured among other things an Agreement with the Trucking Company to set up an Assembly plant in the country.

This is significant since Ghana has already secured an automobile assembly plant by Volks Wagon when Chancellor Angela Merkel recently visited the country.

Dr. Thomas Mensah, made these known when he joined the Presidential Business Delegation led by His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo to the 2018 Africa Business Forum in Beijin.

He said Ambassador Boateng is well liked and respected by African Americans and Africans in the US.

President Akufo-Addo also praised the Ambassador for his effort in organising the China Africa Forum 2018.

Infrastructure development, Investment, Industrial Development, Technology transfer, capacity building and Global Trade are foundations of this collaboration.

Ghana’s delegation to the event was led by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

There were 50 Heads of States from Africa, who attended China Africa Forum 2018, and the President of China His Excellency Xi Jin Ping who is the Convener of the conference pledged $60 Billion to African Countries for Infrastructure Development and Modernization.

This is equivalent to the Marshall Plan Investment by the US for rebuilding Germany after the World War II that turned Germany into the leading Economic Power in Europe.

As the world leading Scientific Expert Dr. Thomas Mensah was pleased with the Conference that included the Bullet Train ride by the President and the Delegation from Beijin to Shandong the most industrialized Province China.

  • 70 Per Cent Of Mobile Money Scams Are Preventable – Ursula Owusu-Ekuful

70 Per Cent Of Mobile Money Scams Are Preventable – Ursula Owusu-Ekuful

The Minister of Communications, Mrs Ursula Owusu-Ekuful has said about 70 per cent of mobile money scams in the country could have been prevented if patrons of the services were aware of the risks associated with the operations of such services as some Ghanaians are getting worried over the increasing cases of Mobile Money fraud in the country.

The issue is said to threaten the growth of the industry as well as financial inclusion.

Some victims of Mobile Money fraud who narrated their ordeal to Citi Business News expressed worry over the canker.

Mobile money which hitherto was a safe means of transacting business now seems to be an opportunity for scammers.

Speaking at the launch of the National Cyber Security awareness month 2018 and the launch of the National Cyber Security Awareness Programme at the Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT in Accra, Mrs. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful said the criminal elements behind the cloned accounts used such accounts to defraud unsuspecting members of the public, explaining that, “there is ample reason for the persistent of these scams and is very simple… lack of awareness on cyber risks and trends by the majority of our citizens is the reason.”

However, a month-long awareness programme dubbed “A Safer Digital Ghana” has been launched.

The awareness month is to bring to the attention of the general public, the already critical importance of security within the cyber ecosystem of our country, as well as the profound impact of dynamic technologies in our lives.

The Safer Digital Ghana campaign, focusing on four key thematic areas – Children, the Public, Business and the Government – has been developed to respond to the increasing spate of cyber crimes and cyber security breaches which could potentially undermine the gains from Ghana’s digitalization agenda, according to officials of the Ministry of Communication.
