  • Why 2020 BECE Placements is likely to be released before February ends

Why 2020 BECE Placements is likely to be released before February ends

Confirmed: BECE 2020 Placements will be released on Sunday, 28th February 2021.

So in the last three weeks there have been a lot of chatter about when the Ghana Education Service (GES) will release the 2020 School Placements.

Although the placements were scheduled to be released last Sunday, it appears that hitches have prevented that from becoming a reality.

Mfidie.com has already reported that in the interim, GES is setting up Placement Call Centers to tackle all issues that may come up after the release of the Placements for students who wrote last year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination.

However, there is a strong indication that the placements will be released before this month ends. We have come to this likelihood based on publicly available information by GES.

Reasons why BECE Placements will likely be released in February 2021

Placement Call Centers are rapidly being set up

GES has also stated that, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the usual going to the Black Star Square and other regional GES offices to solve placement issues will not hold.

At the moment, GES’ Technical team is at work to ensure that the GES call Center runs effectively and efficiently to receive and solve Placement related issues.

Per the speed at which the placement call center has been set up and the frequency of the updates, it is safe to say that GES is working towards releasing the placements this month.

This is because the placements will have to be released before the ca

    GES’ own Press Release

The last Press release by the Ghana Education Service explicitly stated that the 2020 placements will be released “soon”.

The introduction the the release stated that “The Ghana Education Service (GES) informs the general public that it is preparing sufficiently to release the Computerized School Placement soon.”

By this, we can be assured that the placements will come at a very soon date, possibly before February ends.

Time to Report to Senior High School

Recently in an interview with the Daily Graphic, the Director General of the GES was quoted as saying: “Usually we give them some three weeks to prepare to go to school and we wanted to keep to that”.

Barring any changes, SHS 1 students or first year senior high students are to report to Campus on 10th March 2021.

Three weeks before 10th March is the later stages of the month of February.

The GES would want students to adequately prepare before arriving at school so it is very likely the placements will come before the month of February ends.

Beware of fake websites giving fake dates for the placement. Stick to the official GES platforms and be on the watch out for the release.

  • BECE Placements for SHS 1 will not be released today due to challenges

BECE Placements for SHS 1 will not be released today due to challenges

A lot of individuals who read the report by Daily Graphic that the BECE Placements will be released today, Sunday, February 21st woke up feeling enthused that the placements will be released.

However, new information available to us shows that the placements will not be available today.

The Director General of the GES had already said that the placements will be released if there are no last minute hitches.

It appears there have been some hitches and so the placements have not come, therefore checkers are still not available for the placement.

Please don’t allow fraudsters to take advantage of your impatience and sell to you fake checkers. The CSSPS Placements will be out in due course and you can check soon. Guard your hard earned money.

    Is BECE Placement Out?

No. The 2020 BECE Placements are not yet out. The Director-General of the Ghana Education Service (GES) earlier said that School Placement will be out on Sunday, 21st February 2021. However, on the morning of the said date, it became apparent that the placements won’t be available then.

So what can do do while you wait for the placements to be ready?

What should you do as you wait for CSSPS Placement for 2020 BECE Graduates?

If you are a parent or graduate still waiting for placements to be available, you can take some steps now, so you don’t find yourself wanting when the placements are finally out.

Here are some preparations you should start making as you wait for the school placements to be out.

Get in touch with a Placements Card Seller so you can be among the first people to check

When the placements are finally released, there will be mad rush and the CSSPS system might even go down.

Some people might need to even do self-placement and might miss the schools they would have wanted.

To prevent these issues, it is good to know right now, who you will buy your placement checker for. We recommend buying from Sir Ike.

You can send them a WhatsApp message or Kindly call 0555475811 for inquiries.

    Start buying things for school

First off, make sure you are enrolled on the National Health Insurance scheme with an active subscription, otherwise, renew your NHIS on your phone as soon as possible.

You need to start buying all the things needed for Senior High School. You need to do this fast because once placements are out, all the prices are going to shoot up.

Items that SHS students need to buy to school include a chop box, mattress, boarding shirts, some books and footwear.

These are items that all SHS in Ghana take as part of their prospectus.

Make a budget for first term/year at school

As a parent, you need to make sure that your ward has all the financial support they can receive while they are in school. It will be useful to have savings set aside for each term for all their needs.

This usually comes after you have bought everything needed for school.

Follow GES and other credible sources of information on the 2020 SHS School Placement

Also, remember to follow credible sources when the school placement comes out. You can send us a WhatsApp now and we will alert you when the placement drops.

Also keep checking the official GES handles as they will announce once the placements are out.

  • Top Online Casino Sites in 2021

Top Online Casino Sites in 2021

If you are looking for an ideal online casino site, try to get the one that offers the best. Not all sites can offer the best game deals and options. It is better to get a legit one, and it is safe to play via the online site.

It can be daunting to pick a reliable one with large options, especially when you wish to invest money in an online casino. Some of the factors mentioned below would help you make the right choice for an online casino and make money from it.

Things to look for in online casinos

    • The casino should be a licensed one
    • Wide range of casino games available
    • Offers general casino bonus
    • The casino should offer assistance round the clock
    • The website offers mobile casino quality

How to choose online sites suitable for gaming?

If you are choosing online casinos, you must search for plenty of game options to choose from. The top-rated casinos have a great variety of game options to offer to the games including interesting features for the gamers’ benefit. The success of online gaming lies in how well you can choose the site and the games. The site should give a portfolio of a variety of casino games that are trending these days.

However, the online slot machines are available only in the best online casino options. Not all casinos can deliver the best machine options. So, you need to research the available option and how you can benefit from the right one. The live game options provide the player with the fantastic option to have the best casino experience playing online. The players need not visit the casino parlors anymore as they can enjoy the same from their home’s comfort.

    Games available on popular sites

Not all online sites are able to offer adequate game options. For this, it is better to consider three factors that would help choose the correct one.

    • Read the casino game review games before you start to play games from it
    • Check the casino game rooms
    • The casino should offer a chat option with technical support and clear your queries

So, it is important to choose the right casino before making up your mind to play using real money. By this, you can make money from it, provided you start playing through the right site. Never choose any random sites as they may not have suitable options for games as you are looking for.

What to look for in an online casino site?

    • Friendly payment options

After choosing the online casino gaming site, you need to check whether you can play for free on the site or use real money. If it requires money, it is better to go through the payment option before you choose a suitable casino online site. If only the site offers friendly options, you should opt for it. If the site has a transparent payment site, it will be easy for you to transact on the site. It is important to check when dealing with real money and you are investing a big amount.

    • Casino with the easy withdrawal time

When playing via an online casino, it is better to know that it helps ease withdrawal time. As soon as you own, the casino should enable the players to withdraw the cash. This is another important factor to check when choosing an online casino for playing.

    • Mobile casino

The online casino you choose should be a suitable one, and you can easily access it via a mobile device. Try to get one that is mobile optimized to have ease of playing games online.

    Wrapping it up

As you start playing online, you will slowly grow confident in playing the games and know the tactics on how to make money. Try to choose from the best online sites to make it worthy of the investment you make. Here, check the sign-up bonus and the deals that the site offers to the players. Compare the prices of the sites before you choose one single site to play from. Try to choose the site that offers a deposit bonus as you start to play.

You Can’t withdraw your MTN Mobile Money at a Merchant without an ID

Starting from 1st February 2021, MTN Mobile Money customers will not be able to withdraw their money at a merchant unless they have a valid national ID Card.

The move is seen as a way by MTN Ghana to curb the high prevalence of fraud on the widely adopted MoMo platform.

Under this new system, one of the following cards need to be presented at the merchant for a Mobile Money transaction:

    • Ghana Card
    • Driving License
    • Passport
    • Voter’s ID
    • SSNIT ID and
    • NHIS

According to MTN Ghana, “when an agent is performing a cash-out for a subscriber, the agent is required to select the ID type and enter the ID number of the ID card the subscriber provides.”

As mentioned earlier, this new update to the way MTN Mobile Money withdrawals are done at the merchants will be in full force on February 1.

With the new system, MoMo withdrawals at merchants are going to take longer as the merchant has to now enter the ID Type and the ID Number (2 extra steps).

Kindly note that you can use any of the IDs listed above provided they have been registered in your name, and not necessarily the ones that you initially registered your Mobile Money with.
