Features of Tecno Camon 15

The Camon 15 has been seen in stores outside Ghana since February 2020.

The build of the phone is a plastic body (back and frame) and the usual glass front. The display size is 6.55 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen which gives a 720 x 1600 pixels resolution.

Mfidie.com can confirm that the smartphone comes with 4 cameras which includes a 48MP main shooter.

The front of the phone is a 16MP selfie camera which should be more than enough to capture everyday shots.

Back to the main camera, it features main a Quad-LED flash and has both panorama and HDR functionality.

Features of Samsung A10s

Design and Display

Samsung’s Galaxy A10s has a big screen size of 6.2 inch infinity-V display with a 720 x 1560 display resolution. The Samsung Galaxy A10s is a TFT (IPS) technology display, a capacitive touchscreen with a multi-touch feature.

Still on the screen, there is a V-cutout that houses the 8 megapixels camera and the screen is scratch resistant according to Samsung.

The phone itself comes in a plastic body and has dimensions of 75.8 x 156.9 x 7.8 mm.

When it comes to gaming, the phone’s graphics are processed by a PowerVR GE8320 dual-core GPU.

With this combination, you should be able to do a lot of multitasking and with the 2GB of RAM, good normal usage of the phone should not give you any issues.

There is also 32GB of space which does not seem like much nowadays, but if you backup most of your photos to Google Photos, you shouldn’t have issues at all.

However, if you want to keep things offline, you can take advantage of the microSD memory card slot which can take up to 512 GB.

Camera

The Samsung Galaxy A10s has a total of three cameras, a slight improvement over the A10 that it has come to replace.

itel A56 (2020): Price, Specs, Features and Where to buy

We can confirm that itel Mobile has launched a new phone this March 2020. The new A-series itel phone is the itel A56.

The itel A56 is the successor to the very popular A55. The A56 comes with improved battery performance and an updated Operating System (Android 9 Pie, Go Edition).

Features of the Huawei Nova 5T

Design and Display

When it comes to the design of the Huawei Nova 5T the device comes with glass on both the front and the back and has metal sides.

For most of the design, it follows on the path of the Huawei P30 Pro especially when it comes to the arrangement of the four rear cameras (vertically placed).

One very unusual design we see in the 5T is the placement of the fingerprint sensor. The sensor, which is used to unlock the phone (when enabled) is conveniently embedded in the power button on the right side of the phone.

Due to this design change, unlocking the phone is more natural and works faster than if you had the sensor behind the phone or in the display.

The display of the phone, as we said earlier is a solid 6.26-inch full HD+ with a punch-hole selfie camera placement.

As with most punch hole camera’s a total full screen could mean some UI elements may not show. However, there is an option to disable the punch-hole in the phone’s settings.

It’s no surprise that the 5T is expected to perform like a flagship. You should experience close to no lag on the phone and launching and switching between apps should be very seamless.

There is no micro SD port or any form of additional storage on the Huawei 5T but that’s understandable considering the 128 gigabytes of storage the phone comes with.

Huawei Y9s: Is it all beauty?

At the end of 2019, Huawei announced the Huawei Y9s which was well received by the Ghanaian public and was sold out on launch day.

The Huawei Y9 series of phones dates back to 2018 and was relaunched several times over the past year as the Y9 prime (2019), Y9(2019) and finally the Y9s. part of the reason they kept relaunching the phone was because of the US ban which prevented them from doing business with US companies including Google.

In order to still have Google apps for its low and mid-range phones, they found a loophole in the ban and relaunched old phones.

I’ve been using the Y9s for a month now and I’ve been really impressed by how solid the phone feels. At six and a half inches, it isn’t the smallest phone on the market but the full-screen display makes gaming and media consumption so fulfilling.

At 1500 cedis, it is a bit cheap which explains why it sold it on launch day. When I purchased the phone, I received a sports Bluetooth headset and a selfie stick. I don’t know where the stick is but the headset really cancels out the noise so well that I’m really grateful for it.

I’ve had 1080p screens in all the phones I’ve used but the Y9s still managed to take my breath away. The full-screen display is immersive and makes videos look so much better. The colours are vibrant and the contrast is good too.

Mobile games such as PUBG and Call of duty Mobile looked really good on the screen too. The full-screen display is achieved because of a pop-up camera. While it may be a worry for some, I barely use my front camera so it’s fine with me. Overall it’s a great viewing experience.

One of the things that caught my attention when I bought the phone was the specifications. 128 gigabytes storage space with 6 gigabytes RAM was too much for that price point. The phone runs smoothly and switching between apps has never been easier.

As a student, I usually juggle studies with social media and a hint of games but there’s nothing more annoying than going back to an app only for it to have closed. This doesn’t happen with the Y9s and I’m really glad.

The Kirin 710 processor seems to work well for me as I don’t use too many demanding apps as I am a casual gamer. Both PUBG and Call of duty mobile run well on the phone albeit at medium settings.

Pairing a medium-tier processor with a 4000 mAh battery is the recipe for great battery life. Without playing any game, I can easily get through a day and a half with a full battery. It takes just a little over an hour to charge the phone to the max so you never have to worry about any battery issues.

There is a single speaker at the bottom of the phone which produces really good audio though the bass is lacking. The phone comes with a 48 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera and a 2X telephoto lens. The cameras take really good photos in daylight though colours appear a bit muted.

There is a night mode on the phone though it feels kind of gimmicky. It’s nice that there is an ultra-wide camera for taking landscape photos. The 16 MP front camera is able to capture small details and video calls look great for the price. I was really content with the camera through the AI assistance sometimes got out of hand.

If you are a hardcore mobile gamer, I can’t recommend this phone for you. The processor works well for 2 hours of gaming and then starts lagging. The camera quality is fine for social media but it can’t compare to many other phones. If you want a really good camera, please don’t pick this phone.

In spite of all this, the Huawei Y9s really works well with its great features and anyone who picks one up would be content with it.

Reports suggest an iPhone 12 that keeps the all-screen face while adopting a flattened metal frame that’s more akin to the classic iPhone 4, not to mention the current iPad Pro. Screen sizes could shift a bit too, going to 5.4in, 6.1in, and 6.7in (as opposed to the 5.8/6.1/6.5in of now).

The new Apple device is expected to be available from September 2020.

4. Motorola Razr

Having lost its market share to a couple of other phone companies including Huawei and Samsung, Motorola is ready to make a statement with its Razr model.

Announced In November 2019, the Motorola Razr is expected to make an entry into the market around mid-January 2020.

TECNO Spark 4 (2019): Price, Specs, Features & Best Deals
